History

Just think, when you were growing up, how many folks (like us) did you know who skied, white water rafted, bungee cord jumped, or anything like that? Most of us spent our childhood in urban areas, playing football, baseball, basketball or whatever we could get our hands on! We spent our youth doing whatever our friends did.

In the ski season of 1990-91, Thrillseekers, Inc. began. It started as Founders had a vision to create an outlet, to gather these 'Thrillseekers' into an organization that would cater to non-traditional adventures. The first Thrillseeker trip had begun to the National Brotherhood of Skiers had a regional meeting at Attitash, NH in February, 1991.

Planning a trip, (let alone a ski trip!) for 43 friends, family and adventurers really began December 1990 and January 1991. Folks like Cheryl Hickmon, Tracy Price, Owen May and Kevin Howell were some of the "victims" that made that trip a success and were the original members of Thrillseekers, Inc.

We have a lot to be proud of, since that first fateful trip we have built a mailing list of over 1000 people. Our membership spans from Boston, MA across the country to San Francisco, CA and internationally London, Paris, Dubai Our paid membership has been upwards of 200!!

Our adventures have ranged from Bungee cord jumping, to jet skiing in the Hamptons, to Skiing in Austria, to scuba diving in the Florida Keys!! Camping !!! White Water Rafting and race car driving!!! We are open for any type of adventure in which you may want to participate! If organizing a trip interests you - call us!!! We have folks who are down to do anything and everything!!

We continue to build our club into one of the premier organizations in the NBS. With members from 1 year to 70 years old and a median age of 40, we continue to focus on youth. With our Youth Program, our young people get to experience all sorts of adventures with our members as mentors. TSI Snowboarders and TSI Race Team have answered our member's call for their specific needs and we continue to cater to our organization. We are also active members of the New Jersey Ski Council.
